Sarah Bonar

Sport has always been a big part of my life growing up. It has not only taught me many key values but I have made life long friends that I now call family. I rowed for Great Britain at junior level before I turned my attention to rugby. My second passion is geography which I studied at Loughborough University before becoming a secondary school teacher. I wish to use our platform as a vehicle to inspire people through the power of sport, share incredible stories and mentor the next generation.

I am a proud ambassador for Rugby People – a not-for-profit rugby community that have had a massive impact on women’s rugby and the grassroots game in Scotland.

Rhona Lloyd

I was a sports-mad kid growing up, eventually focusing on rugby when I went to the University of Edinburgh for my undergraduate degree in Reproductive Biology. I’m now studying an MSc in Sports Biomechanics at Loughborough University alongside an internship with British Athletics. Sport, at any level, gives you life long friends, travel opportunities and personal development in abundance. It changes lives. Through our platform, I want to empower people of all ages to participate in sport, break the masculine stigma surrounding athleticism and encourage women to celebrate being strong.

I am a proud ambassador for Rugby People – a not-for-profit rugby community that have had a massive impact on women’s rugby and the grassroots game in Scotland.
